Application of Einstein's
Theories to Personal Affairs
by David C. Kopaska-Merkel
In your frame of reference
all distances can be measured
and velocities calculated
but they don't match what I see.
All is not relative in this
curved and finite world:
there is just one you,
and time moves one-way only.
Sprinters gain weight (their mass infinite
if they travel fast enough),
but problems have no mass
and travel as fast as light.
If time and space are one
why can't we meet again?
If I leave the universe at one end
can I reenter at the other?
When I signed on they told me
that we could stay in touch,
but I don't like the way velocities
distort your face and voice.
